Rock and Roll enthusiasts can enjoy a day of live music and dancing at Stourport Riverside Meadows on Sunday 4 June.

The Rock and Roll Party in the Park runs from 11.00am until 6.00pm.

The free event is organised by Wyre Forest District Council and features artists the Heart Beats, Colin Paul, Hickswill Bombers and Sharna Mae & The Mayhems. DJ Guy Roles from the UK 1950’s Radio Station will be providing the tunes between the live acts.

Refreshments and a licensed bar will be available and Hickman’s of Kidderminster has also kindly donated the use of a stage.

Classic car and motorbike owners are welcome to bring their vehicles to the event. There will be trade stalls and children’s rides too.

Amy Smith, Wyre Forest District Council’s Leisure Development Officer said:

“The Rock and Roll Party has been running for a few years now and it is going from strength to strength. It’s always a lot of fun.  We’ve got a fantastic line up of quality entertainment from local artists and performers. We look forward to seeing you there!”
