Park for free after 4pm this Christmas!

Christmas shoppers will be able to park for free at all Wyre Forest District Council car parks after 4pm in the run up to the festive period.

The ‘Free Christmas parking after 4pm’ offer will run from Saturday 18 November 2017 through until Sunday 31 December 2017.

November 18 marks the start of the district’s Christmas light “switch on” ceremonies starting with Kidderminster. Stourport’s lights switch-on will be on Friday 24 November and Bewdley’s on Saturday 2 December.

Cabinet Member for Operational Services Councillor Rebecca Vale said: “We are delighted to once again offer residents and shoppers in Wyre Forest free parking after 4pm.

“Our aim is to encourage residents to shop locally and also attract shoppers in from outside the district.

“There’s a lot going on in our town centres over the festive season and I hope as many people as possible come along and join in.”

Don’t forget to collect your free ticket from the machine and display clearly in your vehicle when using free parking incentives.
