A Christmas message from Councillor Marcus Hart, Leader

Can I take this opportunity to wish a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019 to all residents and visitors of Wyre Forest.

As 2018 passes and 2019 begins, we look back at a year that continues to make the community of Wyre Forest a stronger and better place to live, work and visit. Whilst of course the economic gloom still remains, albeit the Government is starting to signal the end of austerity, Local Government finances are going to be challenging for several more years.
The District continues to fight back economically and I pledge to continue to do all we can as a Council to support our communities.

As you settle down to enjoy this year’s Christmas festivities with your friends and families, please spare a thought for all those hard working public sector workers and members of our Armed Forces who serve our Country throughout the year and at this holiday time.

On behalf of the Administration, may I offer the very warmest of Christmas greetings to all residents, businesses and visitors of Wyre Forest and may we look forward to a brighter, stronger, more prosperous 2019.
