People who live and work in Wolverley and Cookley are being asked about their future housing needs in a new survey that will help shape future residential development in the parish.

Wyre Forest District Council is inviting local residents and those with close links with the area to complete a written questionnaire to determine their current and future housing needs.

For the first time the survey will be available to complete online at www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/wolvandcookhousingneeds before Wednesday 21 February. Paper copies are being sent out to all households for those who are not online.

Results will be analysed and used to inform the Wolverley and Cookley Neighbourhood Plan.

Cabinet Member for Housing, Health and Well-being Councillor Chris Rogers  said: “This is a great opportunity for residents to help shape future residential development in Wolverley and Cookley over the next few years.

“I’d encourage everybody to use the online survey as this is much quicker and easier for everyone.

“We want people to let us know what their current and future housing needs might be so we can ensure we get the right developments where they are needed most”.

All responses should be with Wyre Forest District Council by Wednesday 21 February.
