A story of love, intrigue, magic and celebration will be taking centre stage in Bewdley next month.

The famous William Shakespeare play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, comes to Bewdley Museum on Sunday 1 July from 5.30pm.

The Quantum Theatre production company will be telling the tale of four young, unsuspecting lovers who become entangled in violence which ultimately threatens the human race. The play promises to be fast paced, highly energetic, interlaced with live music and of course, being one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies, it’s rip-roaringly funny!

Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Community Protection, Councillor Juliet Smith said: “This is an evening not to be missed set in the backdrop of our beautiful Jubilee Gardens. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is brilliantly remade by the spectacular Quantum Theatre production company.

“The performance kick-starts a great summer of events in Wyre Forest – make sure to book now to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets are £12 per adults and £8 per child. To buy tickets visit - www.bewdleymuseum.co.uk/whats-on/midsummer-nights-dream
