Car park season tickets are going digital!
01 May 2019Season tickets for Wyre Forest District Council car parks are set to go digital.
Thousands of motorists are now paying to park on Wyre Forest District Council car parks using the secure JustPark website and phone app.
Following the success of JustPark, the council is expanding its services. Soon anyone renewing or purchasing a season ticket can only do so directly from the JustPark app or website at https://www.justpark.com/season-tickets/WyreForestDC.
The change will offer extra benefits for season ticket holders as they will no longer need to display a physical ticket and if they download the app, they will receive real time reminders when their season ticket is expiring and they can renew their ticket at a push of a keypad.
This move will not affect pay and display machines at Wyre Forest District Council car parks which will still accept cash.
Linda Draycott, corporate director: community, wellbeing and environment, said: “We are noticing a growing trend of people using JustPark when paying to park in the district and we really want to meet that demand.
“Moving away from physical tickets is a big step forward and I’m sure existing, new and future season ticket holders understand the great benefits of doing it digitally.”
