Wyre Forest District Council’s Leader Councillor Graham Ballinger, Chairman Councillor Shazu Miah and Councillors Susie Griffiths and Berenice Dawes met members of the Kidderminster Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club.

The club attended weekly by Councillors Nicky and Kevin Gale is an opportunity for former military personnel and their families to socialise over breakfast every Saturday from 8am at Larch Wood Farm, Kidderminster.

Chairman for Wyre Forest District Council, Councillor Shazu Miah said: “It was a real pleasure to meet and listen to stories from our veterans at their weekly breakfast club. This club is a great asset to the community giving local heroes the opportunity to share their experiences, support each other and have a laugh over a bite to eat.”

Member of Kidderminster’s Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, Mark Roberts said: “You can only relate to what we have been through, if you have been through it yourself. The banter is invaluable to us.”
