Showcase of Services for Older People

A free Showcase of Services for Older People is being held on Thursday 26 September at Kidderminster Town Hall, 10am to 1.30pm. 

Organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Worcestershire County Council and Age UK, the event will feature a wide range of organisations offering advice and information on a range of topics including healthy living, finances, benefits and local services.

There will even be a chance to get a free electric blanket safety test. Simply call Age UK on 01527 871840 to book an appointment (limited availability).

Councillor Nicky Martin, Cabinet Member for Housing, Health, Wellbeing and Democratic Services said: “It’s great that the showcase is once again highlighting the wide range of services available for older residents in our community.  There will be lots of useful information on hand on a wide range of topics of interest to older people which could really help improve someone’s health and wellbeing. It promises to be a fun day that should not be missed!”
